The VX-8 Quick Reference Guide is an easy to use guide to all of those Yaesu VX-8 features that you can never remember how to use.

Ive written this guide specifically for this application, based on my own use of the VX-8. It launches instantly and is organized into easy to find sections.

Sections include: basic setup, tuning, scanning, APRS, memories, repeater setup, tips and tricks, and more!

This guide is useful for both the VX-8DR and VX-8G, though some items will only apply to the VX-8DR.

This app is designed for both iPhone and iPad!

VX-8 Guide app good for

A good implementation of a quick reference manual. Covers all the things I normally forget how to do like assigning memories to banks, and accessing banks as well as some of the less frequently used functions of the radio. Considering that a printed quick reference quide costs more than $10. $1.99 is very reasonable for this app. I like the one tip in Tips and Tricks that mentioned linking the actual VX-8 pdf manual to your phone using iBooks. That way if this app doesnt answer your question you have the manual to fall back on.

Thank you for making this app! Although Ive stared at the paper manual long enough, I finally took the time tonight to program a few channels into my radio. Your app was tremendously helpful.

Nice app and very useful on the go. Beats carrying the paper manual around. Especially since I learn one feature and by the time I have that mastered have forgotten the last feature I mastered!

I just purchased this app and I find it very difficult seeing the "icons" or the key designations in the instructions within the app.

Some bad moments

Covers a few basic things....for anything more interesting it says "See the manual for more information" You might as well just download the full PDF manual and save it on your phone or ipad
